Absolutely love this piece, just found it now.
I love the danger you can hear in those strings, with the repeated semiquavers, and 3 chord progression (go to 1.30 mark). It is gorgeous.

I already loved his work, and was playing I Giorni for my grandma the other day. He has created some beautiful pieces.
I will admit it could build more possibly, the repetition could be drawn out it something bigger perhaps, but I do like the final section because it’s that gorgeous string section again that gives me chills.

I also thought the cello’s progression sounded very James Bond-esque, and with Skyfall just coming out, I had to share it.

The piece was apparently written about “one of those days” when things turn out completely different than what we expect. I think you can hear the uncertainty of what is coming with those chilling semitone movements in the cello, and again, that gorgeous string section.

She is brilliant, everyone should check out Claire.

I’m so into YACHT at the moment, and I’ve been looking in depth into their philosophies and theologies; they are very interesting. I like the way their minds work, it’s pretty nifty.

And their music is pretty epic too.

Absolutely love Young Guns. Their first album was so much heavier than I thought it would be when I heard Sons of Apathy and immediately fell in love them, but believe this was not a bad thing. I’ve been lucky enough to see them live at their own headline tour, and at a rock festival and both times were just MENTAL. If you like heavy rock gigs, mosh pits and more, then Young Guns are the band for you.

I honestly think this band deserves way more credit then they get, they just give me chills. I think All Our Kings Are Dead will be one of those albums that sticks with me forever, it is just SO GOOD.

Gustav Wood, Gus, is an amazing lyricist as well, just listen to the song ‘Stitches’. Beautiful lyrics for such a heavy band. So yes, check out Bones their new album, it is pretty damn amazing.

I can’t say how much I love this band, so I’m just going to stop and say listen to them. If you find this song a little heavy check out Stitches or if you want heavier go Elements.

My friend has this really cool taste in music, and I go to him on a daily basis for something new to listen to. This is the latest lovely, what do you think? Notice the use of Thom Yorke, oh yes.

We both agreed that this is perfect city evening driving music. Seriously, close your eyes and imagine you are driving around New York, to this.
